Retirement: E) Letter to Employee Notifying the Outcome of an Appeal against Refusal of a Request to Work Beyond the Expected Retirement Date LRET05 £4 plus VAT

Employers are obliged to write to an employee with the outcomes of the appeal of the request to work beyond the employee’s expected retirement date. This should be sent as soon as possible after the appeal meeting has taken place. This document includes options for the employer to state either that the appeal to work beyond the normal retirement date has failed, or to approve an extension of the employment until a specified new date for retirement, and if required a new working pattern (hours).
