Redundancy: A) Initial Warning Letter to Individual Employee LRED01 £4 plus VAT
This is the first letter to go to staff that are at risk of redundancy.
The letter shall be sent to all employees that are affected, are in the group department, office, factory, etc. It serves as the initial information to the employees, and as an invitation to staff to consult over the issue of redundancy and consider and propose ways of avoiding or reducing the risk of redundancy. This is NOT notice of termination of employment. It is an essential part of a consultation process – which is essential in reducing the risk of claims of unfair dismissal and unfair selection for redundancy.
