Redundancy: E) Decision & Notice of Termination LRED04 £4 plus VAT
This letter is to give the outcome of the meeting with the individual that has been identified for selection for redundancy. A selection of reason(s) for redundancy are provided. In addition the letter serves as notice of termination of employment and to specify the redundancy payments that are to be made (incl. statutory redundancy pay if relevant.
The letter also informs the individual of the right to appeal against the redundancy decision. Notification of the right of appeal is an essential part of a fair redundancy procedure.
Before completing this letter you will need to calculate the relevant Statutory Redundancy payment that the employee is entitled to, or the enhanced redundancy payment that is to be made, as this figure will need to be included in this document.
