Redundancy: D) Invitation to Individual Meeting to Discuss possible Redundancy LRED02 £4 plus VAT

This letter is a formal invitation to an individual employee to attend a meeting to discuss redundancy. This particular letter should be sent if no previous suggestions have led to the removal of the risk of redundancy. The meeting is one at which the particular employee has the right to be accompanied. In the case of a “selection” process having been necessary this letter should be sent after the initial selection process has been followed, which has identified the particular employee(s) that have been selected for redundancy. The letter makes it clear that meeting may result in notice of termination being given to the employee.
